Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea is a time-honored ritual with a longstanding history, from high society Londoners passing gossip to 19th century suffragists discussing the right to vote. At The Hermitage Hotel, we are delighted to carry on this proud tradition as a nod to our role in the women’s suffrage movement. Sip on a cup of tea while enjoying a medley of savory snacks and decadent desserts during our exquisite afternoon tea service.

Now being served in the Veranda, enjoy our menu of delectable dishes and craft cocktails, or perhaps upgrade to your own personal bloody mary bar. The Hermitage Hotel and Jack Daniel’s each have longstanding history in Middle Tennessee, dating back to the early 20th century. Throughout the years, the hotel and Tennessee’s favorite refreshment have crossed paths, in manners both notable and notorious. Today, The Hermitage still boasts an extensive 208-bottle Bourbon Library, one of the largest collection of bourbons in Nashville.
